Sunlodge Oceanfront Tourist Park

Sun Lodge Tourist Park is situated at Point Vernon the quieter end of Hervey Bay overlooking beautiful Gatakers Bay. All units are single storey with ocean views. They feed the lorikeets twice daily and the Park is across the road from a large area of parkland where there are kangaroos and lots of birds - a birdwatchers delight in fact.

Units Cabins and Van Sites have their own private ensuite and are set in quiet surroundings with swimming pool barbecue area and laundry.

There are two boat ramps adjacent to the park and the area is one of the best fishing spots in the Bay. They are one kilometre from the corner takeaway shop and the main shopping centre is a seven minute trip in the car.

All accommodation has air conditioning fans personal ensuites and is self contained and self-catering. The van sites have power water and their own personal ensuite.

We can assist you in choosing a Tour to Fraser Island, a Whale Watching Tour, fishing trip, Barrier Reef trip, or one of the many other types of activities on offer at Hervey Bay.

You can swim in our salt water pool, or take a short walk down to the clean, clear water of the beach.

There is a 15km cycling path nearby that will take you all the way to the boat harbour.

We are only a few minutes away from the popular clubs, cafe’s and restaurants, and golf course.
