Kennett River Holiday Park enjoys a safe and pristine beach, one of the few patrolled beaches on the Great Ocean Road between Lorne and Apollo Bay. It is well known to the local surfers for the fun and reliable point break, just a short walk across the Great Ocean Road.
Native animals are not shy around Kennett River Holiday Park. It's a great place to see Koalas, Native birds including King Parrots, Rosellas and Kookaburras, Dolphins, Seals and even Whales. Grey River Road runs behind the Park and is a popular Koala spotting area. This road leads you up to the temperate rain forest of the Great Otway National Park where you can see the colony of Glow Worms by night.
Kennett River Holiday Park features a variety of accommodation options. Our BeachView Cabins are very popular with amazing views of the Kennett River Point. Our new Family Cabin has 3 bedrooms & is ideal for 2 families to have a fun beach stay. Our ParkView and BalconyView Cabins are 2 bedroom & very comfortable while our Couples Cabin is very roomy with a Queen bedroom & bathroom.
We also have large grassy Powered and Un-powered Sites, suitable for tents, caravans and motor homes. Well established trees provide shelter for our resident Koalas and Campers from the cool winds in the Winter and provide shade in the warmer Summer months.
Many Australian Native animals call Kennett River Holiday Park home. There is a significant population of Koalas in and around the park at Kennett River. With Koalas spending most the day sleeping, evening is the best time to see them. Throughout the quieter times of the year we often have Wallabies come down from the National Park to feed on the grassy sites. Birds are abundant in Kennett River, the King Parrots, Rosellas, Kookaburras and Ducks are tame enough to hand feed.
For something different visit Grey River Road Picnic Area after dark to view the colony of Glow Worms.
