#Campslay with three fashion-forward camping outfits

Camping is usually the last word you associate with fashion, and we want to change that. With the rise of glamping and associated emergence of luxury holiday parks, there’s no need to slum it (unless you want to). We’ve sourced three fashion-forward, yet practical women’s camping outfits which are perfect for your next glamping adventure.

These summer outfits can stand up to a little bit of rain, wind and sun, and are all suitable for inclusion in your “non-camping” wardrobe. Be sure to accessorise all these outfits with plenty of sunscreen!

Camping outfit 1: Silk sensation

A classic silk shirt paired with relaxed boyfriend shorts and a pair of birkenstocks.

Why this camping outfit works:

This silk shirt from The Fable is hand washable and crease resistant – perfect to chuck in your overnight bag. A word of warning: the fabric is still somewhat delicate, so be careful if bushwalking. Add a relaxed pair of boyfriend shorts and classic BIrkenstocks to complete this stylish look. Make sure your Birkies are worn-in prior to your camping trip.

Camping outfit 2: Fabulous flanno

Think flannelette shirts are just for hipsters, tradies and jillaroos? Think again.

Why this camping outfit works:

Not gonna lie, we were totally inspired by this pinterest photo when we put this outfit together. Wear your flanno over a printed tee (preferably camping themed), or tie it around your waist – 90s style. Let your cute striped socks show over the top of your legit hiking boots for a casual-cool woodsy look.

Camping outfit 3: Hiking heaven

A sensible (but stylish) activewear inspired summer hiking outfit.

Why this camping outfit works:

You’ll feel as cool as you look in your Lululemon tank and Monteil teardrop crop.  Every element in this outfit is completely practical, from the air-wicking shorts to the genuine waterproof hiking shoes. Cap it all off with a frivolous “slay” hat from Boohoo.
